Hillcrest Athletics Association
The Hillcrest Athletic Association awards scholarships to outstanding Hillcrest High School athletes, underwrites the annual HHS Athletic Banquet (Approximately $5k) for all HHS athletic programs, the HAA purchases equipment and uniforms supplementing what DISD provides and also funds tournament fees and transportation needs not in the district's budget. Sound equipment, a concession trailer, panther flags, tents and ice chests are also items provided by the HAA.
